Prepare two people for a duo rap video

Choose separate portraits or prepare a side-by-side shared photo, with permission and clear previews.

Separate portraits are the easiest starting point

For a two-person rap, start with a clear portrait of each adult. Keep the face large enough to recognize and roughly forward-facing. Two photos with similar lighting and framing are easier to compare before you submit. The people do not need to stand in the same original scene.

You must have permission from both people. Avoid celebrity references, existing songs and attempts to imitate an artist's voice. This workflow makes an original short performance from your own permitted references.

If you only have a photo together

The creator includes a local shared-photo preparation tool. It is intended for two people standing side by side. Open the tool, choose your photo and adjust the left/right split. Review both resulting portraits: each should show one unobstructed face. Confirm only when both previews are usable.

This is manual composition, not automatic face recognition. A person standing behind the other, overlapping faces or a crowded group photo usually needs separate portraits instead. If the split cuts through a face, move it; if no split can separate the people, cancel and choose other photos. Preparation happens on your device. The shared source photo is not uploaded by this tool; the confirmed portraits go through the normal upload flow when you submit.

Choose a topic both people would enjoy

A good duo topic gives the pair a shared situation: finishing a project together, planning a weekend trip or celebrating a friendly game. Keep it short and avoid conflicting directions for each person. For example: “Two friends celebrating the end of a busy week with a relaxed, playful rap.”

Choose Duo, check the two portrait previews, select one stage and confirm permission. Current videos are eight-second portrait clips. The topic guides the result; exact dialogue, lyric wording and a perfectly even division of lines are not editing controls.

Review both people in the output

Play the whole clip with sound. Look for recognizable faces and check that the result suits both participants before sharing the downloaded file. A two-person result can vary between takes; the examples show individual outputs, not a guarantee for every input.

Private history keeps the task's stage and topic. “Use these settings” starts a new draft with those choices; it does not reuse your private photos or generate automatically. Add photos and confirm permission again before another submission. A new completed take uses a new generation charge.

Prepare your duo, or read the portrait and topic checklist before choosing photos.
